Design freedom takes center stage at Freescale Technology Forum 2006
Freescale Semiconductor (NYSE:FSL, FSL.B) today inaugurated its second annual Freescale Technology Forum (FTF) at Hotel Grand Ashok in Bangalore.
The opening session, with an audience of more than 1,000 FTF attendees, featured a keynote address by Subroto Bagchi, co-founder and chief operating officer, Mindtree Consulting, and senior executives from Freescale Semiconductor.
“We live in a fascinating world where solutions to many human problems are within arm’s reach,” Bagchi said. “Technology, like never before, is ready to deliver these solutions.”
“Over the next two days, an esteemed and diverse audience that includes our customers, partners, industry analysts, and members of the media will get the opportunity to collaborate and network with some of the best minds in the business, explore and understand the latest solutions, tools and ideas for the growing semiconductor industry,” said Ganesh Guruswamy, director and country manager of Freescale India. “India is at the forefront of embedded semiconductor design today, and is all set to grow leaps and bounds.”
Freescale will demonstrate technologies that enable the latest applications including videophone, networking for digital homes, network security, wireless broadband technology (WiMAX) and VoIP phones at its interactive Technology Lab.
Freescale Technology Forum will provide engineers with more than 55 hours of in-depth technical sessions over the next two days. The in-depth technical sessions and interactive Technology Lab provide attendees with insights and the latest embedded industry trends in automotive, networking, wireless, industrial and consumer markets.
