Consider the case of IBM. It’s high velocity growth in this sector has continued in terms of a high double-digit revenue growth for seven consecutive quarters with revenue growing more than 25%. Google India on Tuesday released the most searched words in India. The sex quotient seemed very high amongst Indian net users. While Sania Mirza was the Top sports star, Aishwariya Rai, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Shah Rukh Khan were the most searched after Bollywood celebrities.

Interesting the Mahatma also found a following in net generation. Mahatma Gandhi, was the most searched political leader. With electronic networks changing the way the way we interact with amongst friends and family, Orkut was the fastest rising search query in 2007. Kerala followed by Singapore, Goa, Australia and London were the most searched places of interest in Google.

The report was released by Google yesterday as a part of Google Zeitgeist report for India - the fastest rising and highest volume search terms that users from India have been submitting to Google, in 2007. According to Google “We studied the aggregation of billions of search queries people from India conducted on Google.”
