Britain freezes!
Nature seems to be getting harsher on the Brits. With freezing winds blowing hard from the Arctic a large part of the country braves severe snow showers.
Roadways have been shut down in northern Scotland after bouts of heavy snowing in the area. Repeated warnings are being issued to most drivers due to snow storms and rain have have catapulted the situation overnight. Temperatures are likely to dip as low as -6 C overnight in some parts of Scotland and eastern England.
The Met office has therefore issued an advisory for several parts of northern Scotland, Suffolk and Norfolk for the weekend. It is also anticipated that the forthcoming weather on Sunday may be milder. However, with the bad weather already on prowl, motorists have been advised not to travel distances amidst ice and snow.
There has been a conscious effort on behalf of the people to clear roads of ice and snow in order to avoid accidents
