Bangalore to be the hub for Mobile Magic in Southern India
Mobile Magic, India’s biggest and first Franchisee chain Mobile Showrooms by Mobile Magic Pvt Ltd, today announced its expansion plans for South India. As a part of this initiative it announced the opening of four stores in Bangalore. The company also announced that it plans to set up 20 stores in Bangalore in the next six months and target the booming Rs 10000 crore Mobile phone market in the Southern region.
Mobile Magic in sync with its business strategy, plans to set up 250 stores in southern India by 2009. The company also plans to expand its presence in India by introducing 1000 stores across the country by 2010.
Vivek Palod, Director of Mobile Magic, commenting on the expansion plan said, “The mobile phone market in South India is fast growing especially with the entrance of the new players concentrating in this sector. The latest expansion is inline with the strategic focus we are taking to meet the growing business. We are entering in the southern region laying our first step in Bangalore. To drive this growth further we are trying to expand beyond Bangalore and cater other southern markets.” Speaking on the occasion he further added that Mobile Magic is all geared up to expand its team significantly for the region as they churn out new business opportunities.
